STRIPPING

I like the title. Catchy yet it really depends on how you took it to mean. Anyway... why the title? Well, life is. Every revelation is as good as it is in the moment. As it passes by, it fades and rots into the history books. What is revealed now won't hold true for long. What is tasty now won't be once it exceeds its shelf life. What is important now will be important for now and might not be when it loses its urgency. Like stripping apples, you reveal the essence of what you intend to experience, the juice and fibers that you intend to taste. Yet if you leave it on a plate for sometime without even taking a bite, you will never realize how tasty the apple was when it was just freshly peeled. Nothing beats a freshly stripped apple... not even those that come in cans with preservatives and extra doses of vitamin C can compare to the zest of a freshly peeled apple dripping with sweet fruit juice.

And just as life's essence is slowly revealed, relish the experience at every state. It will never be the same again.
