A Day At HOME
Finally, we got to buy Marie a gift at Marks and Spencer. Thanks Les for the suggestion. We bought the Rose Water. Three of us (Boogie, Adrian and I) chipped in.
Snoopy
I went back to the store to watch over snacks sales. Read the newspapers... and ran out of things to read, so I went snooping into the womens magazines. Was reading an article that presented a survey about dates and intimidating partners. It had questions like: If the girl you are dating is older than you, would you be intimidated and instead not go out with her? Just as I was reading the survey... talk about coincidence... Tracy Ngochua passed by and then entered our store. We got to talking coz she was going to buy an internet card and she wanted my opinion as to which card is of great value. I endorsed Pacific Internet, since its what Im using and so far Ive been getting my moneys worth down to the very last cent. I could now pass for Pacific Internets official endorser. Have to be a celebrity first to do that... err... mascot???...hehe. Then we talked other stuff, and as usual, SARS came up... this 4-letter word has now become part of everyones vocabulary. She then left to buy the card at AV Surfer, and I was back to... reading the magazine... hehe.
Seafood!!!
When I reached home, I immediately had my dinner coz I saw CLAMS and TAHONG on the dinner table. I love seafood, especially if prawns, lobsters, clams, shellfish, scallops and oysters are on the menu.
Tattooed On My Mind
DSound
Maybe you soon
Forget about all
Or maybe youll miss it like I do
One things for sure
Im all knocked out
Spent too much time thinking of you
And I cant get you out of my dreams
Now I know that youre the dangerous kind
And your smile is tattooed on my mind
And I cant get you out of my dreams
Dont wanna write
I dont wanna call
I would not know what to say
It should be you
Thats how I want it to be
Tell me you feel the same way
And I cant get you out of my dreams
Now I know that youre the dangerous kind
And your smile is tattooed on my mind
And I cant get you out of my dreams
Oh, yesterday
I was feeling safe
Oh, I do today
Is trying to be brave
And no melody
Can seem to soothe my mind
And now I curse you
For being so sweet and so kind
And I cant get you out of my dreams
Now I know that youre the dangerous kind
And your smile is tattooed on my mind
And I cant get you out of my dreams
Yes I know youre tattooed
On my mind youre tattooed
(I just wanna feel one more time)
Freak Me Out
Early start for today... drove mum to Berovan to buy some hygiene masks... SARS SARS SARS!!! I'm going nuts here with the paranoid public! SARS in the bedroom, SARS in the dining room, SARS in the papers, SARS in the net, SARS in the news, SARS everywhere... I could barely move around with all the SARS warnings at every corner.
Out of The Ordinary
After our adventure to the pharmacy, we went to Bo's Entertainment Center to have BREAKFAST. I rarely take breakfast and today, I just had one of those complete wake up to a perky start breakfasts... I had their full breakfast combo... waffles 'n maple syrup, ham, scrambled eggs and that perfect cup of hot chocolate, plus the cozy ambience of the coffee shop equals... yuMM. Mum then dropped me off at Wanderlanes by 9:30.
Summer Break Treats
Summer vacations are meant for students to take a few months off for some quality R&R. Thank God I chose not to have summer classes, doing what... sit for 2 hours straight per subject. No way!... not to mention studying like there's no tomorrow for those midterm and finals exams which have a wide coverage... considering the few days of discussions. Imagine how much can be discussed in 2 hours per day... A LOT!
In lieu of taking summer classes, I get to help in the Secretariat of the Jaycee ASPAC Convention, get to go to the gym, hang out with friends, go to the beach, attend birthday parties, play PC games, watch TV and SLEEP... in short, I have more control of my time. Won't trade all that for things that could be learned better by just following the regular schedule. I might be in a hurry to graduate, but I also want to graduate with a lot of knowledge stocked up there. Things learned hurriedly slip past memory hurriedly too.
All Play and No Work Makes A BUM
Today, I was busy encoding the registrants - their personal info, payments, flight schedules, hotel accommodations and tours. It took me 5 minutes tops to enter the info of each early registrant. It was rather long and a bit straining to my eyes... the blurred facsimiles, the tiny... itsy bitsy handwriting of some and the UV rays from the computer's monitor... I guess that's work and when it's work, no complains, just comments I keep... hehe. The lechon for lunch definitely made up for it.
After lunch, I called Leslie to help me encode, since she's the only one who's not having summer class. Don't wanna bother you guys out there. I trained her to use the SQL software and with just one pass, she got the routine... fast learner... She took my place 'coz my eyes were starting to hurt and my migraine was at it again. Resumed my post by 3:30 and by 4+ we were done entering the details of the international delegates. The Philippine delegates will be encoded this Wednesday once the final list is out, since thereve been cancellations due to... (wont say it, coz Im dead sick of hearing it already!) Hopefully, PC911 will be able to set the system to multi-user level, so we can encode on separate computer units, divide the job, thereby finish earlier. The faster we get this done, the faster we could set our eyes on the succeeding tasks.
To The Mall... ho hum
We walked all the way to Ayala since it's just 2 blocks away. Went to Macjoy to cool down with a Halo-halo and a Four Seasons drink. Met Adrian, and I just remembered we still don't have a gift for Marie and it's just 2 days away... Leslie helped me shop and it was easy to find one. Buying gifts is always an ordeal for me... if it's for a GIRL, and most especially if it's for close friends. Thanks to my shopping buddy, it was quick and less tiring, since the 2 heads practically share the same taste... hehe.
Sailing Mail
I'm now sailing with "Sailing". It's a classic and I love classics, especially if the songs are rendered by today's top bands. NSync's choral rehash of Christopher Cross' "Sailing" just takes me away... takes me to flight!
I'm now off to... my emailbox. I'm expecting something inspiring from the mailWOman sometime tonight or at least tomorrow. Take care peeps and learn to take flight once in a while... release your cares!

I was supposed to spend the afternoon with Adrian and Jed, but I arrived at Ayala rather late, so wasn't able to make it in time. They went to watch Johnny English ahead, and since I usually prefer to watch movies from the start, I didn't make apas and was instead just roaming around the mall. Met Mitch and we got to talking about the council meeting yesterday. Walked around the mall with him till 3, before he met his buddies. I was already planning to go for a workout at the gym, since the mall was rather empty... until... I bumped into Leslie. She was on her way to National Bookstore to meet up with a friend of hers... so I thought to myself... why not just tag along with her... so I did.
She introduced me to her friend Winnie. We talked a lot inside the bookstore and we were rather noisy, so we went to Bo's Coffee Club to be able to talk more properly... without people's eyes fixated on us that is. Now I know how a goldfish in a fishbowl feels. Anyway, we talked for hours at the coffee shop. Interesting how coffee brings people together in pleasant conversation. They should open more coffee shops then... hehe.
Clock struck 4:30... it was supposed to be a grand EB for the chatters at #fil-chi, but it was only the 3 of us plus 3 guy friends of Leslie's, only one of which sat with us... her Ahia Andy. Adrian and Jed made apas at Bo's. The 3 Musketeers were supposed to go buy a gift for Marie, but the guys had to leave the mall early, so I just remained at Bo's. We'll just shop for the gift some other time. By 6, mum miss called my cell (no more 6 second calls), so I had to leave them. Mum just rang to ask me to shop for some shortpants. My wardrobe is rather complete when shortpants are concerned, so I went back to Bo's, hoping they were still there... and indeed they were. Andy and his friends left, so it was just Leslie, Winnie and I who were left.
Three of us had nothing to do, so the 2 just accompanied me on a shopping spree. I was still looking for shoes... and still found none. WANTED: "More artistic shoemakers! Preferably someone whose taste coincides mine..." Hehe. We entered Loalde and I saw one nice short sleeved polo, which the girls also liked. While I was looking for shoes, they were fitting on some sandals and shoes... and... I just couldn't help but admire their taste. Whenever we went to a shoe store, I'd eye on certain shoes, and they really picked up and fitted exactly the ones that caught my eye... the simple but elegant ones. Call it coincidence??? Well, some just still have it... It's a gift! Charmed and amused I really was. I found myself grinning all the time... beaming with pride for the two of them. Mum finally called to ask me to go to Rustan's, so the two of them saw me off at Rustan's... and I guess they were on their way to Nine West... CLASS!!!
So my mum, bro and I went to Olympic Village where my dear ol' brother bought some shorts and white shirts. We then went to Loalde where I purchased that polo I mentioned earlier. After our brief shopping, we went to Cafe Georg for dinner. With a full-stomach and the soothing sounds of 89.9 on the radio, I was smiling while driving all the way home... and now as I post this blog, I still couldn't wipe that smile off my face. I don't know why. This better stop 'coz my jaw is starting to hurt... hehe. It was a lovely day, surreal but nice!

We were all up for a fresh start... REBOOT. This morning marked our first CompE Council meeting. Though some were LATE and others couldn't attend because of their summer classes, we were able to accomplish our important agenda for the day.
I discussed with the group the operation and policies of the council and made it clear to them that the council should work as a team. I adopted the parliamentary system in our meeting and will continue to do so in the succeeding meetings, since plans are baked better with more discussions and debates.
We discussed about separating from the CEC and about our new system of treasury. In the meeting, our votes concurred, 6 against 0, voting against the separation of the CompE Council from the CEC, making it a dead and closed issue throughout our term of office. A vote of 6 against 0 also approved the new system of treasury. Our agenda of planning the activities of the schoolyear was not tackled since we ran out of time... because the meeting started an hour past the slated time... Filipino time again for some.
It was also made clear that meetings will have snacks served (once funds are handed over to the council), as an incentive for attendance, and that for the succeeding meetings, latecommers will have 15 minutes to catch up before we start our closed-door meetings. We also agreed that before any meeting is adjourned, the council shall set the next meeting date. With such policy, the council decided to convene this coming May 10, Friday, 9AM at the SAS Conference Room. Plum has already secured the forms for booking the SAS Conf. Room. I have signed on the sheet and the form is awaiting the approval of the Chairman and the SAS.
To All CompE Batch Presidents
Prior to the upcoming May 10 meeting, the batch presidents should have met with their respective staff to discuss their plans and activities for the schoolyear. A tentative schedule will do fine. Since all activities from the batch will need approval from the Council, it will be important to synchronize batch activities with the Council activities. The May 10 meeting will have Planning of Activities as its agenda. The CompE Department Chairman, Dr. Joe Mari J. Maja has requested the Council to submit it's Calendar of Activities. Until now, we cannot produce one, not even a tentative schedule, so hopefully the May 10 meeting will address this issue and define the course of the Council.

After the 2 hours of Bel ' Air, my mum took my brother and I to see Dra. Diaz to have ourselves vaccinated. SARS... SARS... SARS!!! Got two vaccines, one for typhoid fever and one for pneumonia. We still have 2 more vaccines to go, one for DT (Tetanus Shots) and for flu. Just a little prick... It didn't hurt a bit. Compared to a mosquito bite, it was nothing... not till you let 3-hours pass by and... IT HURTS! After having dinner at Rai Rai Ken, my deltoids hurt a lot! It got swollen and had this extremely bruised feeling. Now I know how a punching bag feels. Argh, have to sleep now, since I have an early meeting with the CompE Council tomorrow. Good night peeps! Don't worry about me. I'll be fine when I wake up.
Yesterday
It was rather a busy day yesterday. I attended the VOT meeting in school where we discussed matters pertaining to organization policies and details regarding our first issue. Then I went to the gym to workout. A batchmate who just graduated from Ateneo came in... and I now got myself a workout buddy... hehe.
Today
I went to school early this morning to attend a CEC meeting. Got a lot of inputs and ideas from the CEC on how to run the CompE Council this coming schoolyear. Just learned from them also that there will be plans to increase the funding to the different Department Councils... whee... more funds for us!
As for this afternoon, I will be meeting with some high school buddies later at Don Hen at around 3:00. They will be introducing Bel Air to me. Let's see if they can convince me to take up a business venture with them. Everyone's going into business, so why shouldn't I, right?

After lunch, dropped my bro off to school for his summer class. Then I went to City Sports to get back to the habit of working out. I'm so happy 'coz I was finally able to lift 105 pounds on benchpress. It's really something for me to reach 3 digits. I had a very strenuous work out to make up for the scheds I missed due to Holy Week. I guess I pushed myself too hard, since my head went spinning after. Mum dropped me off at Ayala. I didn't do my usual rounds, 'coz I really wasn't up for it. Wanted to relax and watch a movie, but I thought that I might doze off inside with the little energy I have left, so I didn't.
Instead, I watched Black Hawk Down on DVD at... AV Surfer! They have this small room with good acoustics and a superb 3D surround home entertainment system. The staff there are friends of mine, so they allowed me take the afternoon off inside their "living room"...hehe The experience was so nice, it definitely beats the Ayala Cinema experience.

I slept really late last night...3AM. Couldn't sleep... I don't know why, so I changed some things in my site. Woke up still a bit groggy, so I was planning to stay home for the afternoon and then maybe pay the gym a visit by 4:30. I wanted to go for a workout since I missed 2 schedules already due to Holy Week. Gym was closed for Thursday and Friday. I was supposed to post this blog at lunch time, but I didn't have time to log on to the net...'coz... while having lunch, a friend called me at home and invited me to an afternoon out with them. So I immediately got into malling attire... and drove to Ayala with my bro and mum.
Spy Game
My friends and I watched The Recruit. It was about time I got myself into a movie house. "The Recruit" was one nice movie! I really enjoyed the mind twists in the story, especially the way Al Pacino played his role. He's definitely one good actor who does dialogues best. I just love espionage movies. They keep the mind at work constantly analyzing possibilities... and let's say I love to think spy...CIA!
Sulit
Saw Mitch at the mall when we were doing rounds. After the movie, we had snacks at Orange Brutus. Spent the remaining afternoon there talking stuff. Sheryl Uy and a friend of hers made apas. We went to the Metro Ayala Grocery, but came out buying nothing since the queues were really long. We then went around the mall for a while and we split ways. Fritz walked home, Jeremy and the two girls went to Andrew's house and I went back to our store. All of that in 5 hours. Time flies by so fast when you've got friends around. It was one sulit afternoon.
Spicy Hot
My family had dinner at Tsai in Crossroads. I had their Nasi Goreng and had the chef cook it really spicy. It was really anghang but the flavor wasn't that great... too much veggies. The chilis and spices brought out the flavor in the food. Loved the spicy feeling on my lips, but my breath... forget about it... I had to brush my teeth twice when I got home... hehe.

Oh, and by the way, my site's got a new name... no longer Unabridged... It's now Take Flight. It's that stage in your life where "There's Nowhere Else To Go But Up"...
It's Holy Week, so have to abstain from the usual... which includes posting blogs. Hope you have a blessed Holy Week!

I really had a good night's sleep last night. Must have been totally drained by yesterday's acivities. Read the extra long blog?...goes to show many things happened yesterday. Woke up really late this morning and... 1 message received... who could be texting me when everyone these days is so "tihik" with their PISO!!! Mystery texter at first... turns out Pandi gave my number to this mystery texter who goes by the name Kathleen. She said she asked Pandi for a "buotan" friend. Buotan diay ko???... that's something new! tsk tsk tsk... first they say I'm too friendly and now they put me up for sale??? Hey, this age ain't B.C. where people are sold yo!
I spent the afternoon with Jed at my official residence (mailing address also). Met Jana Rodriguez at Penshoppe and we all went to Bo's Entertainment Center, since she wanted to sip the afternoon away. Lauren made apas and we spent 3:30 to 6:00 just sitting there exchanging jokes and stories... about friends who get drunk and the silly things they do like... punching street signs... running through dorm corridors naked... and this one's hilarious... one fell flat on the street, was so heavy that his companion had to roll him on the street towards the pavement... more like a kargador rolling an LPG tank. Picture it out!... Time flies by fast with friends like Jana to animate your world.

Woke up so early today 'coz I was so excited about our trip to the beach. I did my daily morning rituals, packed my beach stuff and waited for the clock to strike 8:30. I killed time by just lying down on my bed and... I suddenly dozed off. It was a good thing Plum texted that she's already at Starmart, so the beep of my cellphone woke me up. I could have missed the outing there. Close one...
Off To The Beach
From the house, picked Plum up at Starmart then headed for Jollibee AS Fortuna where everyone was to meet. At Jollibee, I couldn't resist the tempting smell of the strawberry pancakes served at the table beside us, so I just had to buy one to keep me going through the excursion. We left the place at around 9:30. We rode a multicab to Lapu-lapu, then rode another multicab to take us to Mar y Cielo. On the way, we bought some ice and jugs of mineral water.
Trip Down Memory Lane
When we reached the beach, a sign read PORTOFINO BEACH... Portofino Beach??? What happened to Mar y Cielo? It's been 7 years since the last time I visited that beach. It used to be so nice.. with the sunken pool bar, the resto overlooking the sea and that nice lawn with a kiddie nipa hut we used to play around all afternoon. Now, some cottages don't even have roofs and walls, just a cement skeleton of it. In short, the place has long been abandoned.
Surviving The Great Outdoors
After settling down in a cottage by the shore, we began to cook our lunch... one big fish, squid and pork belly... hmmm... seems like some people are evading the practice of fasting and abstinence. We had fun with our little "sugba-sugba". Hope there were no city health officials there, or else we could have been sanctioned for substandard food handling... hehe... how does pork belly with a few sand particles taste? ...salty and crunchy!!! We had some discussions over lunch on how to run the student paper this school year. After sharing our views and expectations, we raced to the shore. Dive, dive, dive!!!
Amazing Race
Plum and I had to leave the beach for a 2:00 meeting with the CompE chairman. It was 1:30 when we left the beach... and it was a race against time. We walked from the cottage to the gate which was rather far... not to mention the blazing heat of the high noon sun. My shoes took a beating from the scorched earth. We then rode on a tricycle (not motor-powered) to the main road. Waited for around 10 minutes for a #23 multicab to take us from Mactan to Mandaue Hi-way. From Mandaue Hi-way, we waited for like 5 minutes before we could take a multicab to bring us to TC. Arrived: 2:40... out of the race.
It's really amazing to be trekking the outdoors this way. Being accustomed to the pleasures of driving or riding in a car, it was a great experience walking under the heat of the sun and taking tricycles and jeeps/multicabs for long trips.
In The Flesh
When we arrived, the chairman was still having a meeting with the incoming 5th year students... supposed to be the batch I should belong to...argh! Anyway, after the meeting, I finally met the chairman in the flesh. Correction again... its Dr. Maja...with a "J".
Fingers Crossed
After talking with the chairman, Mitch, Tot, Plum, Rey and I had a brainstorming session to discuss some changes we will implement in the council starting this year. We will be concentrating on fund raising, tight budgeting, proper fund allocation and fund management. With more money, comes more projects, lesser worries and our belts won't be that tight, leaving extra cash at the end of the year to give the succeeding batch of officers more foundation to build upon. Hope that our new treasury system will be received by the other council officers with much optimism. Let's keep our fingers crossed till April 25, when I'll propose the new scheme to them.

I just came from the beach... and I'm so pooped. Our family decided to take another day off at the beach, so we extended our overnight stay into... TWO overnight stays. The first night, we spent it with our Lola, Di-ku, Di-chim, cousins Matthew and Kyle. We drove back to Lapu-lapu City to have dinner at Majestic Mactan Marina Mall, then had to drive back again to Maribago to take the night off. Last night, we just spent it with our Lola, since my uncle, aunt and cousins went home ahead. We again had to drive to the city to have dinner at Rasa Singapura in the same mall, then drove back for lights off.
Yesterday, my Aunt Felisa Etemadi, Di-ee Po and Omid made apas to the beach. Swam the afternoon away at sea with Omid. We didn't swim in the pool, because of fear of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome)... just playing safe that's all. We wanted to do some kayaking, but the price was like 840 an hour!!!... not practical at all... so we just had to content ourselves with making friends with the sea animals like a few schools of fish, crabs, starfish, sea urchins...
Smart Buys
On the way to the beach, we stopped by Mactan Marina Mall. We visited the Levi's shop owned by one of our aunts. It's a Levi's store that caters more for the C market. Found a lot of great buys there, like Dockers pants worth only 849 and some short sleeved polos are just 500+. Smart buys don't you think?
Brief Escape
Yesterday morning, I left the beach for the city. Since mum was needed at our store, I accompanied her back to the city and she dropped me off at TC. I went to enroll my cousin. Only signed him up for one class yet - POSC13, since schedules for ECON1 and SOSC6 are not yet available, so I'll try to sign him up this afternoon... after I blog this.
Following Footprints in the Sand
Met Mitch yesterday in school. Got to finally talk to him about the CompE council. I just realized that there will be so many activities to plan for once the academic year starts. I guess I'll be following the footsteps of my namesake, right Mitch??? ahem...
Reminders
Ma'am Daday informed us that the CompE Department has a new chairman - Dr. Mah. Why the title Dr??? Not MD, but Ph.D... that's probably the reason why Sir Burce's chairmanship will last till the end of summer. According to Ma'am Daday, she'll spare us the actual details of the restructuring of the department, since the situation is rather precarious. So for now, just a reminder to Mitch, Plum and Tot, meeting this Friday, 2:00PM at the CompE Department. Exact venue will just be agreed upon at the office, since the classrooms will be used for the enrolment.

This song goes out to all of you who have or once had that special someone who made a little Heaven in your heart. So here it is, Because of You by Keith Martin
Because of You
Keith Martin
If ever you wondered if you touched my soul,
Yes you do.
Since I met you I'm not the same.
You bring life to everything I do.
Just the way you say hello.
With one touch I can't let go.
Never thought I'd fall in love with you.
Because of you,
My life has changed.
Thank you for the love and the joy you bring.
Because of you,
I feel no shame.
I'll tell the world
It's because of you.
Sometimes I get lonely
And all I gotta do is think of you.
You captured something inside of me.
You make all of my dreams come true.
It's not enough that you love me for me.
You reached inside and touched me internally.
I love you best explains how I feel for you.
Because of you,
My life has changed.
Thank you for the love and the joy you bring.
Because of you,
I feel no shame.
I'll tell the world
It's because of you.
The magic in your eyes,
True love I can't deny.
When you hold me I just lose control.
I want you to know that I'm never letting go.
You mean so much to me.
I want the world to see
It's because of you.
Because of you,
My life has changed.
Thank you for the love and the joy you bring.
Because of you I feel no shame.
I'll tell the world it's because of you.
My life has changed.
Thank you for the love and the joy you bring.
Because of you I feel no shame.
I'll tell the world
It's because of you.

No work for today, so spent the free day at the mall... again. I helped around the store over lunchbreak and had my lunch there. I then went to the gym as part of my every-other-day workout schedule for the summer. Raine texted and so we met up at National.
Chit Chat Over Raspberry Mocha...
Raine and I spent the afternoon just at Bo's Coffee Club Entertainment Center. Took the day off with her, talked stuff, shared stories and opinions about whatever we had in mind. I enjoyed her company and that perfect cup of Raspberry Mocha I had.
Pinch Me Will You!!!
Met some of my high school classmates... and also former dormmates at Ateneo like Brian Huang and Justin Lim. I also saw Tyler Ong. All of them graduated already last March. They were at Ayala to take part in the job fair. They asked me whether I'm about to graduate too, and I had to reply "Another 2 long years for me." I didn't feel good about that reply, but I guess that's reality... things just happen and somehow they shape your life into something... for reasons yet unknown... can't hardly wait to graduate already!!! Someone get me out of here...
Getting My Act Together
After spending the afternoon with my friend Raine, I drove my mum around town doing errands. Went back to Ayala and watched the store till closing time. While I was driving home, this poem's title was on my mind. I was mumbling the stanzas, but they were all broken. So when I reached home, I looked for my book of poems and enjoyed some poetic moments alone. I'll post it below for all you poets out there.
The Road Not Taken
by Robert Lee Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other,as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence;
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less trveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Went for duty again today, and the technician arrived once again at his Filipino time. He installed the registration software already. It's a database software that uses Sybase SQL. It took him a long time to set up everything, since he was not so familiar with the installation process and had to have someone on the phone to help him troubleshoot the installation process. By 12:30, he was done and he showed me how the program works. It's user-friendly, since the fields are very well categorized. Hopefully it's as stable as it is user-friendly, so we won't be encountering bugs during the actual registration process...or else... CRUNCH TIME!!!
Colorful Day
I spent the afternoon at Ayala. Jed and Adrian were there. Adrian had a haircut. Hehe... you should have left some hair at the middle part, so you'd look like an acid punkstar... hehe. Met Leslie at the mall nearing 3PM. Went shopping around with her for barely 15 minutes and by 3, I went to Makro with my mum to buy some supplies for our commissary. Mum then dropped me off at SM to do some errands for her. Took me a few minutes to finish the job, so I spent the remaining 45 minutes window shopping at SM. Circled the entire mall looking for that same shoe style I've been shopping around for. Found none... as usual. I thought SM had more stuff to buy, but this time the Ayala stores have more of what I want. After an hour's time, mum fetched me and we went somewhere in Mandaue to check on a freezer we had brought in for repairs. Went back to Ayala, met up with Leslie again to continue with our shopping. I was looking for shoes and she was looking for a piggy stuff toy to give to her....ahem...hehe. We shopped till we dropped and still we bought... NOTHING. We ended up sitting near Cafe Laguna and talked about LIFE... geesh... I'll never grow old with this stuff.
Life's Lesson
I guess life has taught me one thing: "I just have to see bliss in the little things in life." ...like I'm now happy that I am able to post this blog. Something went wrong with Blogger yesterday. I posted, but wasn't able to puiblish it. My blog yesterday is posted below. Read on if you still care about history...

I reported for duty on my 2nd working day. I was at the office early around 10:30 because we were supposed to meet a technician from PC911 who was going to install the registration software. We waited for him for an hour so the time was around 11:30 when he arrived. When he arrived at the office, he was carrying nothing with him and he told us to mit with him sometime late afternoon instead. My Tita Joan knows how unreliable their company is, so she just told the technician to come back tomorrow morning. Hope that by tomorrow, theyd be early to make up for the inconvenience they caused us. Since their inefficiency delayed us, we had no work to do for the day, so I just went across to QC Pavilion to have a brunch at a caf inside forgot the name H-something. My tita was nice to drop me off at Ayala.
Replenishing Earned and Burned Calories
Spent the lunch break working inside our stores kitchen busy preparing food for the hungry customers outside. Only one cook was left, since the other one got stuck in our commissary. I had to fill in, and so my culinary skills got to work. After 2 hours of being Mr. Chef, I left the store for City Sports Club to workout at their gym. After another two hours of weightlifting, I left the place for Ayala and had lunch at our store.
Rip Off
Ill never purchase an Inter.net card ever again. I spent 100 bucks on an 11 hour card and what do I getI wasnt even halfway the credits, they cut me off already talk about getting your moneys worth. So today, I bought a Pacific prepaid card. I usually maintain one prepaid and one post paid account, since during peak hours its difficult to log in to the net.
Caf Hopping
After having a full lunch, I went to GlobalVillage to post blog. Something wrong with their PCs there, so I just went bloghopping and checking on my YM. Went to AV Surfer afterwards to post this blog. I wanted to post blog sometime tonight, but I guess my day is over as of 4PM this is as good as it gets, so here it is.
