I'm supposed to be on the sack by now, but my eyes just won't... argh... This is always the case... more like a side-effect of working out in the gym... that's why I quit the gym before and well, now I'm back to it again. It's like my body is conditioned to be so active such that it's not sleepy even if I "feel" REALLY sleepy. I have barely 5 hours of sleep left to catch and my body still has enough energy for me to perhaps swim across the Mactan channel... back and forth!

It's been a while since I posted some lyrics, so I'd like to take this opportuity to feature a Filipino artist... Carol Banawa Heard of her? You must have known her if you've seen Tanging Yaman, where this singer turned actress boosted herself to stardom. She has a very beautiful angelic voice, better than Nina's in my own opinion. If you loved her songs - Panunumpa and Iingatan Ka, I suppose you'll love this one too. I heard it over the radio, and now that I'm wide awake (huhuhu), I dug the net for the lyrics. The song's long, but just worth 3 stanzas... repeated... shuffled and reshuffled.

I'm posting the song not for the message it delivers, since there's no one who should stay or is going away. Wanna post it because... if you happen to hear it or have heard it on the boombox, the entire song was sung by Carol herself... except for the last line, which was sung by a guy whose name wasn't mentioned in the credits. More like a pakapin... or "pasingit nga please..." There must have been a reason for the extra line and extra voice. Proves one thing that Filipino directors can be very creative... and not only that... they integrate the lessons/realities of life into their works.
